About Us
Jaivik Sri Farmer Producer Company LTD is an agricultural company that supports small farmers in Koraput District, covering 14 blocks of Koraput District. The company trains farmers to use sustainable seed practices and produce high-quality food products. JSFPC is involved in promoting millets in tribal areas of Odisha, supported by the Pragati Koraput NGO. Our Organisation focuses on promoting the system of millet intensification and marketing at the minimum support price by conducting mandis through government agencies. The company has registered itself under APEDA for exporting products like millet, ginger, coffee, etc. JSFPC has 1733 registered farmer shareholders and has been involved in the production, processing, and marketing of millet for 5600 farmers, organic ginger with 500 farmers, and aromatic rice with 2200 farmers. The company has marketed 3300 tons of millets in raw form and 6 tons through value addition, 300 tons of ginger in raw form and 10 tons through value addition ( Ginger powder, oil, etc) and 10 tons of coffee in raw form and 1 ton through value addition (Filter coffee), directly benefiting 2864 farmers by ensuring fair prices and reduced distress selling. Additionally, the company has promoted pisciculture for 545 farmers in association with government agencies.

Pragati facilitated Jaivik SRI Farmers Producer Company was felicitated as the Brand of the Year (Gold) in Small Category during the award ceremony of 'Brands of Odisha. Pride of India. SAMBAD Corporate Excellence Awards-2023' held on 20th January 2023 at Bhubaneswar. GI-Tag for Kala Jeera Rice
Jaivik Sri FPC received the prestigious GI tag certificate in respect of Koraput Kalajeera Rice with the support of Pragati Koraput NGO, the Agriculture Department, and NABARD, Odisha. This recognition reaffirms the dedication of the tribal farmers of the region to preserving the unique heritage of the traditional rice variety. We hope all the farmers of the region and their collectives will benefit.
Value Added ginger marketing
25 MT consignment of ginger was flagged off by Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, IAS, Principal Secretary to Government of Odisha, DAFE, along with Sri Nikhil Pavan Kalyan, IAS, Director Horticulture and Sri V Keerthi Vasan, IAS, District Collector Koraput. This initiative, promoted by Pragati in collaboration with Jaivik Sri Farmers Producers Company supported by Palladium and GT Bharat is a step forwards in strengthening market linkages for farmers.Following the flag-off, Dr. Padhee engaged with members of Jaivik Sri Farmer Producer Company (FPC), discussing strategies for better marketing and value addition of agricultural products, keeping intact the quality. This initiative underscores the commitment of Pragati and Jaivik Sri FPCL in empowering small and marginal farmers of Koraput district.

Millet Mandi (Shree Anna)
Pragati, Koraput in association with Jaivik Sri Farmers’ Producer Company and with support of Odisha Millets Mission, Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment, Govt. of Odisha, and WASSAN is promoting the “Special Programme for the Promotion of Millets in the tribal areas of Odisha. Pragati, Koraput has been providing input support to the small and marginal farmers for the production, consumption, value addition, and marketing of millets. The Ragi Mandi was inaugurated by the Project Administrator, ITDA cum District Manager, TDCC, Koraput at Pragati field center in Nandapur block of Koraput district on 7th February 2024 in the presence of Block Agriculture Officer, Nandapur, Agriculture Overseer, Nandapur, District Coordinator, WASSAN, Sarpanch, Kulabir, MD, JSFPC ltd, CEO, JSFPC ltd, and Team Leader of Pragati. Around 222.5 quintals of fair average quality of Ragi was procured from 14 farmers.
Amruta Anna Abhiyan (Kalajeera Rice)
Pragati, Koraput facilitated Jaivik Sri Farmers' Producer Company offered the Koraput Kalajeera rice from Sabara Sri khetra, Koraput to Sri Jagannath Temple, Administration, Puri. Due to the efforts of Jaivik Sri FPC, Koraput Kalajeera rice renowned for its aroma and cooking quality has received GI tag with the support of NABARD and the Department of Agriculture and Farmers' Empowerment, Government of Odisha. More than 1000 farmers are growing Kalajeera rice with organic practices. The farmers are also involved in the production and conservation of quality seeds.
The journey started with the offering of Koraput Kalajeera rice in Sabara Srikhetra Koraput through Sri Raghunath Temple, Odagaon, Nayagarh, Sri Jagannath Temple, Ranapur, Nayagarh, KVK, Puri, Maa Bata Mangala temple, Puri to Srikhetra, Puri. A team of 12 farmers along with members of Jaivik Sri FPC delivered the offering of one quintal Koraput Kalajeera rice and organic vegetables produced by the farmers of Sambhab, Nayagarh, at Lord Jagannath temple, Puri, on 2nd February 2024. The initiative will surely benefit the farmers if the demand for this aromatic rice increases, and it will also encourage the farmers to adopt a traditional organic farming method.
